Kitsap County deputies looking for man wanted on child rape charges

Kitsap County deputies are looking for a man desired on a warrant for child rape and luring a minor.

On Wednesday, investigators have been looking into allegations that Roger Alan Heath, 36, had sexually assaulted a girl.

On March 2, deputies started investigating allegations that 36-year-old Roger Alan Heath had sexually assaulted a minor. During that investigation, deputies discovered he planned on fleeing the country with the victim and attempted to trap her into his vehicle.

He is wanted for two counts of second-degree baby rape and luring. Bail has been set for $1 million upon his capture.

Deputies say Health is aware that law enforcement is after him and is actively avoiding capture. Detectives believe he is hiding in the south King County location and may also be armed.

Health is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5’9″ and weighs about 180 pounds.

The Kitsap County Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for Heath for two counts of second-degree toddler rape and luring a minor. His bail used to be set at $1 million.

Anyone with records about Heath’s whereabouts is asked to be referred to as detective Jennifer Rice at 360-337-5616 or 911. Those who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or use the P3Tips app.
